About Terry Milam Geaslin
Hi, I'm Terry Milam Geaslin, and I'm glad to share a bit about myself with you. From my early days, I've been motivated by the stories of others. My storytelling journey began as I pursued studies in English and History at SVSU in Michigan, where I found my passion for finding information about human experiences. In 1999, I had the honor of meeting Norm, my first interviewee, who was 94 years old. His wealth of knowledge about the 20th century sparked a realization within me: our stories hold value, especially in times of rapid change like the present. That's why I firmly believe in preserving family histories for future generations. I’m from Texas but currently reside in East Tennessee with my husband and our three beloved dogs. Family is everything, and I'm blessed to have a son, daughter-in-law, and two wonderful grandchildren in Indiana, along with a daughter who lives close by. I'm excited to continue this journey of discovery and connection with you.
